CBiO Implementation for Mobile Business For Entel Chile and Peru

Brief Description

  • Digital Transformation for the Prepaid and Postpaid Mobile business for Entel Chile and Peru.
  • The implementation of the CBiO 18 was a key technological enabler for the Digital Transformation effort.
  • It involved migrating from previous versions of BSCS and other Prepaid Charging systems to CBiO.

Relevant Technical Information

  • Implementation of CBiO version 18 plus Siebel (CRM) with focus on Customer Care, Product Catalog, Order Management, Rating, Billing and Accounting functionality.

Scope

  • Solution Design, including CBiO core functionality and Systems Integration.
  • Baseline and Business Configuration of the CBiO/BSCS component.
  • Design of the Product Catalog integration between EOC and BSCS systems.
  • Design of the Integration between Order Manager and BSCS Customer Care data.
  • Data Migration from legacy systems into CBiO and Siebel performed in waves, without disruption to Entel’s business.
  • Testing and Production support provided for both markets.

  • Staff involved was as much as 300 consultants and system integrators.

  • It involved migrating from more than one Billing Systems to CBiO.

  • The implementation of the BSCS ixR4 was a key technological enabler for the Digital Transformation effort.
  • It involved migrating from more than one Billing Systems to BSCS.

  • Implementation of BSCS version iXr4 plus Charging System with focus on Rating, Billing, Accounts Receivables and Accounting functionality.

Scope

  • Analyze production related issues.
  • Create patches of configuration.
  • Create scripts for database updates.
  • Support in defect identification.
  • Support in customer meetings.

Project Numbers

  • Project Duration is three and a half months and still running.
  • Staff involved was as much as 10 Production Support consultants.

  • TSTT is operating its Fixed Line business with near real time Charging + Billing convergency.
